ASSETBase
is a specialist computerised educational
tool designed to complement traditional teaching
and learning of accounting principles at the school
level meeting the requirements of the
curriculum of the Ministry of Education,
Malaysia.
ASSETBase
is the only locally developed educational
software that combines subject matter
contents and CBL signature simulation program
on full cycle accounting record keeping processes
- from the generation of source documents to the
preparation of financial statements in accordance
to the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia `Principles of
Accounting’ syllabus needs.
To
facilitate the learning process, ASSETBase
provides subject matter contents in two formats;
Learning Notes and Reference Material, the former
covering issues salient to the overall SPM syllabus
and the latter, in-depth discussion of topics
relevant to the preparation of financial statements.
The
simulation program for ASSETBase,
pitched specifically at its corresponding target
users has been painstakingly developed incorporating
breakthrough product feature
to ensure that ASSETBase remains user-friendly
both in its set-up process requirements and user
interface.
